Me as a Model
My journey into the world of modeling has been as diverse as my creative pursuits. I've had the opportunity to embody contrasting concepts through two distinct shoots.
These experiences have not only expanded my portfolio but also deepened my understanding of visual storytelling.
Fragmentation
My first modeling experience was a collaboration with my friend Raechel Mary Hurtis, who envisioned a postmodern exploration of fragmentation. Clad in a bold black leather ensemble, I became the canvas for her creative vision. The juxtaposition of Western attire with traditional Indian silver jewelry was a striking statement. Raechel's expert photography captured the essence of the concept, while my friend Payal Pratap's gothic makeup added a dramatic touch. The red-lit environment created a moody atmosphere, perfectly complementing the fragmented theme.
Ardhnarishwar
My second modeling venture was a part of my friend Payal Pratap's fashion project, where she aimed to bring the divine figure of Ardhnarishwar to life. Draped in a heavy saree transformed into a dhoti, I embodied the dual nature of the deity. Payal's artistic skills were evident in the intricate makeup that divided my face into masculine and feminine halves. The rustic setting provided a raw and authentic backdrop for the shoot. Raechel's photography skillfully captured the essence of the character, making it a truly memorable experience.
